Groups

Hinterland Children’s therapy group programs are facilitated by our experienced and qualified Occupational therapists, Speech Therapists, Counsellors and Early Childhood Teachers/ Play Therapists.

Our group programs focus on developing children’s social engagement and specific skill development.

Group sessions are an important tool for our therapists to identify areas that may be challenging or areas of strength for children in social settings. We often do not get to observe these in 1:1 sessions.

Our groups are carefully planned and designed to encourage social skills, emotional regulation, movement, play, coping skills, thinking, having fun, friendships, literacy skills and learning in a safe and supported environment.

We have groups that run during school terms and school holidays.
